My Cats Are Really Weird?

Okay, my cats Meeko and Hercules are like the weirdest cats ever. We have a front porch and they always lay on it like a weirdo. They lie down and put their arms out on both sides. Their legs are out as well. Is this normal? Also, Hercules gets into a ton of fights and poor guy gets scabs on his head. Is this normal?
