What are the best irons for me?

Looking for a new set of irons, i am going out for the Varsity golf team next year and am looking at changing from a deep cavity iron to a muscle back or blade for more work-ability. Right now i am using a set of steel-head Callaway X-16 4-9 with a Cleveland CG12 52* as my pitching wedge (i have a pitching wedge but the 52* goes the same distance and provides more spin). I was looking at the Mizuno MP-60 irons or the MX-25's both look great but i just can't decide... i am a 9.4 handicap whose putting is the only thing screwing up my scores. I want more control of my irons and my callaways have to much of an offset. give me your recommendations for irons that have been made in the past 6 years or so from 2005-2010 and i will look them up... thanks
