An Injury Claim Question?

So I was in a car accident recently. I was turning left into the left most travel lane when a lady veered into me after not seeing me. There were no witnesses and it was therefore deemed that I was at fault. I don't mind this my insurance is covering it with no penalty to me. I just found out the people are suing me for an injury claim. At the accident scene, none of them went to the hospital or told paramedics that they were injured. I even asked them if they were ok and if anyone was injured, they said no. Does this give me a valid defense?
